After a two week break and a bit of Dreamhack, The Nydus returned with our Platinum/Diamond tournament! We couldn't be more excited to get back in the swing of things and it seemed like the players felt the same way. The night started off strong with most series going all the way to 3 games, and diverse races in series throughout the night. Players like MLT, Automata, and Pinecone were looking in great form and Vespasian was pulling out some really cool timing attacks, make sure to go back and watch those VODs. When all was said and done it was MLT and Pinecone who met in the finals for a TvZ. Pinecone took the series and his NSL title! A huge thank you to the showmatch players PiLiPiLi and PandaBearMe (who was the first person EVER to take a game off of PiLiPiLi, at least in the Nydus). Huge shoutout to all the viewers and followers/donators, we look forward to doing the Masters + tournament next week. See you then!

What a cool opportunity! Dreamhack put out the alert that they were allowing community casters to cover Day 1 (Pre-Round of 32) and The Nydus had to apply. We were accepted and reported in for our first day of "Professional" casting. We didn't really know what to expect except that good games would likely be had. Sirtiva and Shyrshadi were your casters for the day as GIGGLEBEAR had a couple other (real-life) events to take care of. Both of these guys absolutely put in hard work and passion for the 10 hour cast. We had many players like Catz, Snute, TIME, Neuro that The Nydus hadn't ever casted before so it was a really great opportunity. At the end of the day the games were great, the casters were primed, and the fans were loving it. Gauntlet threw us a HUGE host that pushed our metrics way above what we ever thought possible, so a HUGE shout out to those guys and all the viewers who stuck with us. Thanks again to Dreamhack for allowing community casters such as ourselves to participate in your awesome event! We'll see you guys for the next one.

Welcome back to another week of The Nydus NSL. Your casters for this event were Sirtiva and GIGGLEBEAR, and what a night of Starcraft it was! The night started off quickly with many cheese games getting underway, but eventually panned out into some longer games. The admin for the night was SwagSyndrome so a huge shoutout to him for making the games run smoothly. At the end of the day it was Morrisey and MLT who met in the finals with Morrissey taking the series 3-1 off the back of some SICK aggression. See you guys next week for more NSL action.

We're back with more Platinum/Diamond content and we couldn't be any more excited about this week. We had a terrific showmatch planned with [eSloth]McMonroe and [Root]Semper and the players certainly did not disappoint. The night started off with some pretty quick games, but eventually slowed down into longer series, but all the games were certainly action packed and worth watching. NSL #21 saw many returning players and tons of new faces as well so that is always enjoyable. When all was said and done it was [dLife]Archon and [SyLx]QuAnTuM who made it to the finals and what a series it was! Archon took the series off the back of several good pushes and his game 5 build was super crazy! Early proxy Mothership?! WHAT?! Big shout out to Pinecone for being admin and all the viewers and players for making this a very smooth running tournament. See you all next week!

The. Salt. Is. Real. A WCS competitor and an up and coming Terran player with a recent win off Byun were (friendly) beefing on Twitter. It was suggested to the Nydus that perhaps we should encourage this fledgling beef to grow and thrive and eventually fly the nest and become the full on Salt-Falcon it was destined to become. OK, back on topic though, what a great event this was. CalebAracous and FutureofTerran came out in force willing to play a Bo7 to prove once and for all who the better player is. CalebAracous took a quick game 1 off the back of Ling/Bling/Muta and it looked like he would be commanding the pace of this series but FutureofTerran flipped the switch in games 2 and 3 and pulled himself into the lead. From there, the games flipped back and forth between the two players going to Game 7. At the end of the day though it was FutureofTerran who could outlast CalebAracous, taking the series 4-3. Thanks again to both these awesome players for letting us cast such a great event. See you guys next time!
